How it works

What happens after you say yes.

The first month is the build. It gets billed the day you sign, and there is no setup fee stacked on top of it.

Here is the order it gets done in, including the part that sits waiting on somebody else.

The build

Week by week, out loud.

  1. Day 1

You sign. We start the same day.

The first thing we do is file your texting registration with the carriers, because that is the part with a queue in front of it.

Then we collect what we need. Your number. Your hours. Your service area. The calendar you already keep.

    Carrier registration filed
    • Legal business nameon file
    • Tax IDon file
    • Sample messagessubmitted

Submitted the day you signed. Then it waits on them.

  2. Week 1

The receptionist gets built, then tested.

We write the way it answers. What it asks. Where it sends the ones it should not handle itself. Then we call it over and over until it holds up.

The chat widget goes on your site in the same week. The review flow gets built behind it.

    Chat with us

Hey, this is Savannah, a virtual assistant. What can I get on the schedule for you?

    Type a message
  3. Week 2

The phone stops going to voicemail.

Your essentials site is up. Calls are picked up around the clock. Review requests start going out after jobs close.

This is the week you stop being the only one who can answer.

    Live activity

    • Call answered one ring
    • Appointment booked tomorrow, 8 to 10
    • Review request sent job closed
  4. Week 3 to 4

    Texting switches on.

Texting switches on once the carriers approve your business. Usually a few days, sometimes a few weeks. We file it the day you sign.

Your first monthly report lands at the end of the month, whether or not the texting cleared in time.

    Texting

    Approved by the carriers. Sending.

    Month one report ready
  5. Month 2 and on

It runs. You watch it run.

Log in any time and see your calls, texts, appointments and reviews as they happen, plus a monthly report of everything we did.

Nothing about it is a black box. If you want to know what happened on a call, you can go listen to it.

If you took more than the phone

Two lanes that run beside it.

Everything above still happens on the same schedule. These start in month one as well, not after it.

On Growth

Ads and Local SEO start in month one too.

  • Ad accounts built and tracking put in place
  • Campaign landing pages written
  • Google Business Profile overhauled
  • Directory listings cleaned up behind it

On Everything

So do the custom site and the social calendar.

  • Multi page site built to your spec instead of the template
  • First month of posts written before the month starts
  • Scheduled out for Facebook and Instagram
  • Posted to your Google Business Profile as well

See what sits in each tier

Your part

What we need from you.

It starts with an onboarding call, where we walk you through everything, so you are not left confused at any point in the process.

After that it is a handful of details. You do not have to write anything, build anything or learn a piece of software.

If a photo or a logo does not exist yet, we work without it and pick it up later.

  • Your phone number
  • The calendar you already keep
  • Your hours
  • Your service area
  • Your logo, if you have one
  • A few photos of real jobs, if you have them
  • Your business details for the carriers

What you will see

Your login, not a monthly mystery.

If you have paid an agency before and could not tell what they actually did for the money, we fix that. You can see everything we do, the day we do it.

Start with the audit.

It takes your business name and your website and grades what a customer walks into when they go looking for you. You get the report whether or not you ever call us back.

Questions

About the first month.

How long until the phone is being answered?

Usually inside two weeks. The receptionist gets written and tested in the first week and it starts taking live calls in the second. Texting is the slower half of the build, because the carriers have to clear your business before a single message can go out.

Why does texting take longer than the phone?

Every business that sends text messages in the United States has to be registered with the phone carriers first, and that approval is not ours to hurry along. Texting switches on once the carriers approve your business. Usually a few days, sometimes a few weeks. We file it the day you sign.

What do you need from me to get started?

Your phone number and the calendar you already keep. Your hours and your service area. Your logo if you have one, and a few photos of real jobs if you have those. For the texting registration we also need your legal business name, your registered address and your tax ID, because the carriers ask for them by name.

Do you need access to my Google account?

We ask for manager access to your Google Business Profile. That lets us post to it, answer reviews under it and correct what is wrong on the listing. It is a separate permission from your email, and you can take it back yourself at any time from inside Google.
