Ads management

Ads that put your business in front of people who never knew it was there.

We build and run the ads on your behalf, on Google, on Local Services Ads, and on Facebook and Instagram. The people who see them were not going to find you on their own. Now they know your name, and they know it at the moment they need the work.

Ridgeline Heat & Air is a made-up company. Every name, number and message in this example is invented to show how the product works.

What gets run

Here is where we run them.

Which of these carries the budget depends on the work you want and what is working in your area. We run what works, review all three constantly, and revise what runs as the numbers come in. We would rather run one channel properly than spread a small budget across all three.

  • Google Ads

Search campaigns for the jobs you want, built around what people actually type when something has broken.

  • Local Services Ads

The ads that sit above everything with the Google Screened badge. Google has to verify your license and your insurance before these can run.

  • Facebook and Instagram

For the work nobody searches for at 2am. Tune ups, replacements, seasonal reminders, the jobs you have to go find.

What they look like

The ad, and the page behind it.

The feed, the search page and the landing page are drawn here in HTML, the same as everything else on this site. The picture in the ad was made for this example. Your ads run on your own photos, or on images made for you. These show the shape of the work. There are no numbers on them and there will not be any.

A social ad, the way it lands in the feed. Written for the week it runs, with a picture that fits the season and one thing to do.
The landing page the ad points at. One message, one number, one form, no menu to get lost in.

Where the money goes

Your ad spend is separate from what you pay us.

Two different numbers, always. Our fee is the published price. The ad spend is yours, it goes straight to Google and Meta, and your ads dashboard shows you where every dollar went and what came back for it.

  1. 01

You set the budget, starting at $50/day

About $1,500/mo. That is the floor where the platforms have enough to work with. We move it between the three channels as we see what is working, and you can see every move in the dashboard.

  2. 02

Google and Meta bill your card directly

We never hold the money and we never mark it up. What they charge you is what it cost, to the cent, and our fee is a separate line you can always see.

  3. 03

The accounts are in your name

Every ad account is opened in your name, not ours. If you ever leave, the accounts, the history and everything the platforms learned about your customers leave with you.

In plain terms

Ad spend is $50/day minimum, about $1,500/mo, billed by Google and Meta to your own card. Never touched, never marked up.

  • Your account
  • Your card
  • Never marked up

What's inside

The management fee covers all of this.

Ads are not set up once and left alone. The work is the reviewing and the revising, then writing the next one.

  • Campaign landing pages

The ad and the page it lands on say the same thing, with no navigation to wander off into. Built as part of this, not billed on top.

  • Conversion and call tracking

A call from an ad is recorded as a call and a form fill as a form fill, so the spend gets judged on real bookings instead of on clicks.

  • Reviewed and revised, constantly

We look at what each ad cost and what it brought in, cut the ones that are not earning their spend, and write new ads against the ones that are. The spend keeps moving toward whatever brings the most back for each dollar.

  • Your competitors' ads, read first

Google and Meta both publish every ad a business is running. We read what the other companies in your area are running before we write yours, so you start from what is already working in your market instead of from a blank page.

One thing worth saying out loud: Local Services Ads cannot run until Google has verified your license and your insurance. That is their check, not ours. It can take a couple of weeks. We start the paperwork the day you sign and run search in the meantime.

Questions

What owners ask about ads.

Why is there a minimum ad spend?

Below about $50/day the platforms do not get enough data to learn who to show your ad to, so the money goes out slowly and teaches them nothing. We would rather tell you that up front than take a management fee to run a budget that cannot work.

Who pays Google and Meta?

You do, directly, on your own card in your own account. We never touch the money and we never mark it up. You can log into the ad account any day of the week and see the exact amount charged.

What are Local Services Ads?

They are the pay per lead ads that sit above the search results with a Google Screened badge on them. Google verifies your license and your insurance before they will run, which takes a bit of paperwork at the start. We do that paperwork with you.

Can I see what the ads are doing?

Yes, two ways. The ad accounts are yours, so you can look any time. And every call and form from an ad shows up in your dashboard beside everything else, so you are not comparing two different stories.
